Matchbox 20. Mad Season (2000)

Mad Season is the title of Matchbox Twenty's second album, released in May 2000. It included the singles "Bent", "If You're Gone", "Mad Season", "Angry" and "Last Beautiful Girl". In October 2001, Mad Season was certified quadruple-platinum.

Matchbox 20. More Than You Think You Are (2002)

More Than You Think You Are, released November 2002, is the third album from the band Matchbox Twenty. Although it was not as commercially successful as the band's two earlier efforts, (Yourself or Someone Like You and Mad Season), it had a large radio presence. The album features a wide variety of alternative rock sounds: the rock-and-roll guitar of "Feel" and "Disease"; the sarcastic, riff-driven "You're So Real" and "All I Need"; the ballads "Hand Me Down" and "The Difference"; the piano-driven "Could I Be You" and "Bright Lights"; the hugely popular pop hit "Unwell"; and the rock-and-roll/gospel "Downfall", replete with a full gospel choir.

Matchbox 20. Yourself Or Someone Like You (1996)

Yourself or Someone Like You, the debut album by Matchbox Twenty, released in 1996, contained five U.S. hit singles, and sold over twelve million copies in the U.S. alone. It also went multi-platinum in Canada and Australia. The band's rock-based sound appealed to many listeners, despite a depressing theme with songs on topics such as loneliness, psychological abuse, humiliation, anger, and drunkenness.
