Embrace. The Good Will Out (1998)

The Good Will Out is the debut album by English rock band Embrace, first released in 1998.

On an interesting note, songs from the "The Good Will Out" have been used in many football montages. The song "My Weakness Is None of Your Business" was used as theme to the Republic of Ireland's 2002 football World Cup exit to Spain.

Embrace. Out Of Nothing (200)

Out of Nothing is the fourth album by English rock band Embrace, first released in 2004. It went straight in at number one in the official charts. It was a much-anticipated release, as Embrace had not released any new material for three years. Their debut album, The Good Will Out, was a much-celebrated success, and great things were expected. However, the "difficult second album" Drawn from Memory, was seen by many as over-produced (the band famously claimed to have spent "365 days" in the studio) and their final studio album for old label Hut Records, If You've Never Been was not well received. Embrace moved to Independiente Records and, re-energised, produced their fourth album to critical acclaim. The album's first track, "Ashes", was recently used in an episode of The CW television show Veronica Mars. The album went double platinum selling more than 600,000 copies in the UK making it their best selling album and their most critically acclaimed since their debut.

  2. "Gravity" (Berryman, Buckland, Will Champion, Chris Martin) – 4:40
  3. "Someday" (McNamara, McNamara) – 5:38
  4. "Looking As You Are" (McNamara, McNamara) – 4:06
  5. "Wish 'Em All Away" (McNamara, McNamara) – 3:59
  6. "Keeping" (McNamara, McNamara) – 4:32
