Dave Matthews Band. Everyday (2001)

Everyday is a studio album by the Dave Matthews Band, released on February 27, 2001.
The album did very well in the United States. It opened at #1 with 755,000 copies sold its first week, and stayed at #1 for two weeks. After 25 weeks of sales, it sold over 2.5 million copies. To date, it has sold nearly 3 million copies. It was the 5th best selling album of the Billboard Year in 2001.
"I Did It" was the first single from the album, followed by "The Space Between."
"Everyday" is a reworked version of the earlier DMB song "#36," which had previously appeared on such live albums as Live at Red Rocks and Listener Supported. When played live, "Everyday" often features some old "#36" lyrics.
"Dreams of Our Fathers" is the only song released on a studio album that has never been played live in concert by the band, though it does contain elements of "Little Thing" which has been played live several times.
"When the World Ends" was remixed by Paul Oakenfold and used on The Matrix Reloaded: The Album (2003). The song also has a measure of notoriety, as it was in line to be the second single for the album until the September 11, 2001 attacks caused the band to reconsider, due to its title. In fact, it was never released as a single.

Dave Matthews Band. Under the Table and Dreaming (1994)

Under the Table and Dreaming is the major label debut album of the Dave Matthews Band, released on September 27, 1994.

The album's first single was "What Would You Say," featuring John Popper of Blues Traveler on harmonica. Matthews has stated during performances that the solo performed by Popper was done in only five to ten minutes, while Matthews was in the bathroom. Two other singles from the album followed, "Ants Marching" and "Satellite".

The album's title comes from a line in the song "Ants Marching:" "He remembers being small / playing under the table and dreaming."

The album was dedicated "In memory of Anne" for Matthews' older sister Anne, who was killed by her husband in 1994 in a murder-suicide.

One of Dave Matthews Band's most popular live songs, "Granny", was recorded in the studio sessions for this album and was originally intended to be the first single before being cut from the album. It is still played live today.

Dave Matthews. Some Devil (2003)

Some Devil is the debut solo album by musician Dave Matthews. It was released on September 23, 2003 on RCA Records. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA, signifying over a million copies sold. The album features several guest musicians, including long-time Dave Matthews Band collaborator guitarist Tim Reynolds and Phish frontman and guitarist Trey Anastasio. The album's first single, "Gravedigger," won a Grammy Award in 2004. Some Devil was produced by Stephen Harris, who had previously worked with Dave Matthews Band on their 2002 album Busted Stuff.

Critics have said that the album is darker than Matthews' past albums with his band. Many fans, while at first skeptical of Matthews' desire to release a solo album, quickly praised his efforts. The album is noted for its moodier tone and the fresh direction shown in Matthews' songwriting.

Since 2003, Matthews has performed Some Devil material in concert with a group coined Dave Matthews & Friends, which consists mainly of musicians that appear on the album.
