Jack Johnson. Sleep Through The Static (2008)

Sleep Through The Static is singer-songwriter Jack Johnson's fifth studio album and is due for release on February 5, 2008. The album was announced on Johnson's personal website as renovation began for the release of this new album. It is being recorded at L.A.'s Solar Powered Plastic Plant - he has recorded all of his previous albums in Hawaii. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Johnson stated that it would contain lots of electric guitar work, as opposed to his previous acoustic albums. Although it has not been released yet, it has already climbed the album charts on iTunes due to pre-orders.

The first single will be "If I Had Eyes" followed by "Sleep Through the Static". "Sleep Through The Static" leaked onto the internet on January 31, 2008.
