Nirvana. Nevermind (1991)

Nevermind is the second studio album by the American grunge band Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991 on Geffen Records.Nirvana's major label debut, Nevermind was a surprise success by late 1991. By January 1992 it had knocked Michael Jackson's album Dangerous out of the top spot on the Billboard charts. The album not only popularized the Seattle grunge movement, but brought alternative rock as a whole into the mainstream, establishing its commercial and cultural viability.
